The University of Ballarat’s (TAFE Section) used the Framework’s e-learning benchmarking survey to develop a baseline on the use of e-learning by teachers and trainers.

By asking about the type of technologies teachers were using, the TAFE Development Unit discovered there was quite a lot more e-learning happening than they had expected, and that staff were using technology in ways for which the University had not provided professional development.

The data is now being used to inform planning for programs to support the further uptake of e-learning.
