Templates and Tools The E-learning Benchmarking Project provides benchmark data on the uptake and use of e-learning by vocational education and training (VET) providers, clients and teachers. Now VET training providers are being encouraged to implement the e-learning indicators so that they can compare their e-learning and e-business services with other similar training organisations nationally and in their own state or territory. To support VET providers to establish their own organisational goals for e-learning and benchmark their activity a range of templates and tools have been developed.
Run your own e-learning survey VET providers who want to run their own survey of e-learning and e-business activity can use the online survey tool developed by the E-learning Benchmarking Project. Click the link below to register as a survey administrator for your registered training organisation (RTO). Run your own e-learning survey E-learning Survey Templates If your organisation does not wish to use the online survey tool, you can download template copies of each of the surveys used in the 2005 and 2006 E-learning Benchmarking Projects. See the left hand navigation bar. Templates are provided as MS Word documents to allow VET providers to customise the surveys to suit their own information needs. Each survey is only 1 or 2 pages long. Where providers use exactly the same questions as those included in the templates they can compare their results with the findings of the baseline surveys. Template data entry spreadsheets If your organisation chooses to use the template copies of the 2005 baseline survey(s) you will find links to data entry spreadsheets to match each survey in the left-hand navigation bar. Each spreadsheet contains a sheet of explanatory notes and a worksheet that automatically tabulates any results you enter.
