Templates and Tools The E-learning Benchmarking Project provides benchmark data on the uptake and use of e-learning by vocational education and training (VET) providers, clients and teachers. VET training providers are encouraged to implement the e-learning indicators so that they can compare their e-learning and e-business services with other similar training organisations nationally and in their own state or territory. To support VET providers to establish their own organisational goals for e-learning and benchmark their activity a range of templates and tools have been developed. Copies of the annual E-learning Benchmarking Surveys can be downloaded here. DIY Benchmarking The Benchmarking and Research business activity has developed a new online survey tool that will enable RTOs to run their own e-learning benchmarking surveys. The tool will enable RTOs to develop their own survey using the Framework’s benchmarking questions, with options for including their own questions. The DIY Benchmarking tool is now available. E-learning Survey Templates If your organisation does not wish to use the online survey tool, you can download template copies of each of the annual E-learning Benchmarking Surveys. See the left hand navigation bar. Templates are provided as MS Word documents to allow VET providers to customise the surveys to suit their own information needs. Each survey is only a few pages long. Where providers use exactly the same questions as those included in the templates they can compare their results with the findings of the benchmarking surveys using the DIY Benchmarking tool.
